Bol Worker Owned Cafe & Bookstore

Very happy to have a bookstore in Brookland! I’m looking forward to seeing them expand their selection. The upcoming events seem interesting! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Stupendous! This is a ridiculously cute little bookstore nestled in an excellent coffee shop. They have a great selection of books---left-oriented, but also a wide range of fiction and some interesting stray used finds. And I've been to events here: an open night Palestine fundraiser, great book talks, political organizing meetings, events about music history. In the daytime, there is space to grab coffee and a pastry and chill with one of the books. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is my favorite bookstore! They have a wonderful collection of curated books. The recommended picks are fun to browse through. I can count on Bol to introduce me to a range of new and diverse group of authors. Located in a cafe (which serves excellent coffee) is an added bonus!
