Bookworks of Whitefish

I love Bookworks! The staff are all knowledgeable, well-read, and friendly. The selection is impressive for a small town. There’s also a huge section devoted to everything about Montana. I have found pretty much everything I’ve ever needed or wanted in the store, and they’re always happy to order a book if they don’t have it in stock. This store is better than the independent bookstores were in my former university town in Connecticut. We are lucky here; I have family in Palm Beach County, FL who don’t have access to such a fabulous independent bookstore.

I am so glad that took time out of my brief stay in Whitefish to visit this lovely independent bookstore. I was so surprised to see a huge selection of books (including many wonderful books about Montana and the National Parks). I also must mention that staff was very nice. If you are a fellow book lover, or even if you need to buy a card (they have many!), you should check out this store. :)

The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for, but also a joy to browse aimlessly. Friendly and welcoming staff who are happy to provide recommendations at your request. Not only a great selection of books to choose from but also have cute gifts, stationary, stickers, etc. My kids enjoy perusing the children’s section as well!

This bookstore is such a gem! The staff are warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. The selection is fantastic, especially if you’re looking for thought-provoking books and unique cards! A must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates good books, great people, and a place that truly reflects community values.
