Book Bazaar and A. Parker’s Books are the same bookshop for anyone wondering. This used bookshop is full of rare finds, several different genres, first editions, and labeled sections for book hunting. This bookshop is perfect for anyone who is curious or completely intrigued by the history of books or loves searching for that perfect novel. As a first timer in this shop, I was quite overwhelmed (in a good way) by the abundance of areas to look at. Most of the sections were labeled, which helped a lot with my search, but sometimes it was a little difficult to find a certain genre since some of the labels were too high up, or unable to read. The bookseller is super helpful and loves to answer any questions, so it is great speaking with her. Since many of the books are older and are rare, some books are priced a bit on the higher side, but that may be for many important reasons. To protect the books, this shop does not allow beverages, so when you enter, you will be asked to keep your drinks at the front. I will definitely come back! 📚

They saw the Half Price Books model and decided to go the opposite way...double price books! I found several titles in the Games section that were listed for at least double their original MSRP. Not special in any way, couple years old, mildly soiled from use, still in print. Very nice atmosphere, several interesting titles, but the greed was so offensive I left without purchase.

Most overpriced book store I've ever seen. I like to support local businesses and read once in a while but this was unbelievable. The books I brought to the counter were all from the 70s and 80s containing outdated information on scuba diving and sunken ships I could have easily found on the internet for free. I brought 7 books to the counter and with a "student discount" rang up over $130. These books would go for a few dollars at any other book store or goodwill in the country.
