this bookstore was one of those magickal places where every nook and cranny have been meticulously planned and loved. there are painted murals inside of a few reading books for children and a gorgeous couch/sitting area in the basement. they just need a mural in the basement and theyll be set! also a great selection of books.

Lovely little book store with a wide variety of books organized for easy selection. Some unique choices as well as calendars, games, and some writing/drawing sets. Lovely places to read and just relax. Definitely enjoyed our visit!

This is my favorite bookstore in the Newport area, by far. They have friendly staff and a wonderful selection of all generes. The first time I came to this bookstore they were handing out free sticker sheets to go with every purchase of the new Emily Henry book, and they gave me an extra to give to my sister even though I only bought one book. Great service that you really can’t find anywhere else.

What a treasure! Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff and a great selection of books! If they don’t have what you’re looking for in stock they will order it for you and if you live nearby they will deliver it to your door! I belong to their signed first editions book club and have read many great books from that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. I highly recommend subscribing to that service. It’s also just a beautiful space!

Might be my favorite bookstore I’ve ever visited!!! And that’s saying something- I’ve been to tons, I love to read, and I’m picky about bookstores. I spent over an hour here just browsing and chatting with a kind and friendly employee named Joe. We both enthusiastically shared book recs back and forth and bonded over titles we’ve already enjoyed. I found new ones to love, authors I follow online, hot books all over social media, covers that I’ve seen on the internet, and even illustrators who are blowing up right now. The curation of materials in this store is CLEARLY well thought out and VERY on trend. It didn’t feel trendy though, just inclusive and bright and diverse. It made me excited to read! Both floors, the various age level rooms, and each labelled section all had personalized book recommendations from the staff- which I took many pictures of! I thoroughly enjoyed my time in here and actually hope to pop back in again before I leave. For an independent bookstore in a not-so-large city, I was very impressed by both their selection of Spanish-language books and their incredible amount of author-signed copies!!!
