I absolutely love this bookstore! It is such a gem. They have such an amazing selection of books and other gifts as well. Also, I love that it’s a local store and truly appreciate the welcoming atmosphere! Very friendly and helpful staff here! They also recommend amazing books as well. I’m so happy I found this bookstore. I will definitely continue to come here and recommend Island Books to others! Shop local!

Great local book store. HUGE selection of cards for every occasion. Great curation of books from all genres. If you need a book or a card or a puzzle in the area, this is the spot!

A wonderful local book store run by people who know and love books and reading. Experience something wonderful while this type of book store still exists! You can efficiently buy a specific book online or in a big box. But you won't learn about a range of books and authors from someone who is widely read and can recommend or skillfully help you purchase something appropriate and memorable for another except in a store like Island Books. Great supply of local island and regional books and a wonderful range of cards and small gifts. Free wrapping available on non- corporate paper with personality!

Amazing customer service. Wanted to buy Christmas books for my 3 grandchildren that live in Newport. I live in Virginia. Called the store and a very knowledgeable women picked out 3 perfect gifts and got it out to them. Personal service you can only get when you shop local. Can’t wait until our next visit and when we can come by.
