We had a great time at Flint Hills Books and I found lots to read, it is a nice addition to downtown Council Grove. Jennifer was fantastic and knows her stuff! The shop sits in a beautiful location, it is well organized and replete with local and regional authors and presses — this is important! I found diverse and interesting titles in a variety of subjects including poetry, fiction, gardening, food, birdwatching, and topical nonfiction, plus fresh and colorful shelves for children and YA readers. In addition to books, they offer a big selection of gifts, snarky stickers, and lit themed tchotchkes. I’ll be back next time I am up that way.

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting the store. The owner was very kind and great with the kids, and she had a great selection to pick from.
