Red Fern Booksellers

The BEST surprise while recently visiting Salina, KS. We were meeting friends for dinner, and I saw the bookstore. I went in and was swept away by the beauty, order, and charm. I have visited too many bookstores to count, and this is now one of my all-time favorites. The store is clean, has a terrific selection, and they even have a wall with beautiful wrapping paper to gift wrap the books you buy. The two girls that were working the night we visited were just delightful and I would’ve stayed longer talking about books and picking out the ones I wanted had I not had dinner reservations! We bought several books and I guarantee I’ll be back.

Awesome inventory of amazing books set up in a very unique format that will appeal to the most eclectic bibliophile. This bookseller is the perfect example of how a bookshop should be designed! Must see it while in Salina, Kansas…

Wow! What an incredible bookstore. I wish I had an independent book store this nice in my home town. The atmosphere is incredible plus the selction is excellent. We loved the fireplace area and welcoming children's section. I also want to thank Jersey for helping us during our visit. She's a knowledgeable bookseller and great ambassador for the store. While my wife and I live in the Kansas City area we can't wait for an excuse to return to Salina just so we can visit the Red Fern Booksellers store again. Your store is a reader's paradise.

Stunning. Bookshelves, library ladders, leather chairs in a nook, high ceilings... oh, my. Stunning interior. Beautifully curated books. A stellar personal collection of antique books behind glass - first edition 'Wizard of Oz' books.
