Four-Eyed Frog Books

Four-Eyed Frog is a delightful small and lovingly-run bookstore. It is clean, friendly and very conducive to browsing. While it does not have the selection of a large bookstore, it does have plenty of tempting titles in all the important genres. The whole family can find something here. They also have a selection of greeting cards, notebooks, gifts, and art supplies for kids. If you are exploring Gualala, don't miss the Four-Eyed Frog!

The staff is always friendly and helpful here. A very small bookstore, but they offer both new and used books, with a nice variety of local authors/subjects and a VERY nice selection of books for kids.

This bookstore is a treasure. We popped in while on vacation to get a treat for my kids, and I was blown away by the selection in their children’s books vs the photos I had seen on Google. Lots of picture books and graphic novels. Decent additional collection of nonfiction and novels for kids, along with a selection of toys. I didn’t get much time in the adult books, but I saw several I was interested in. Chose this local selection as my final purchase. Also love that they had staff reviews for both adult and young adult novels ❤️. Hope to get to stop by again in the future!

Super cute! A little difficult to find, meaning, it's in between little shops so you need to walk around a bit after parking but maybe that was a me problem. The location is lovely, up on a hill and you see a beautiful ocean view! I had called in advance to see if they had the books I wanted. She had them ordered immediately and I went to get them the next afternoon! She is easy to talk to as well.
