I purchased two classics in beautiful condition that have golden embossed covers and gold page edges with shiny leather hardcovers. Truly a magical find! The staff were helpful and so friendly. I will absolutely be going back on my next trip to the area!

Awesome bookstore with helpful staff! The books are reasonably priced and the store is well layed out and open. Plenty of fresh new titles to browse out on the shelves though I did notice some of the first books in a series where missing from the shelves, though without a doubt the staff would be happy to order them for you.

I always shop here when I can. Whenever I need to special order a book, it usually only takes one or two days for it to come in! They even text or call me when it arrives. Ukiah could definitely use more bookstores like this. The staff is always very knowledgeable and happy to help.

This is a good bookstore with good selection and hometown feel. The staff is very helpful. The prices are what you would expect. They have a nice childrens selection and great cards. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is because I like to buy locally and if there is a reward program I feel it should reflect a reasonable goal (if you spend $175 or $25 you still only get one purchase credit per visit). My daughter wanted to start her buyers card, but purchase of a hard back book wasn't enough for a visit to be marked. Also, I understand they can not stock obscure titles just in case someone wants that odd book and still stay in business, but when inquiring about a current best seller I get tired of hearing, "We'd be happy to order it for you." When it isn't in stock, or there is nothing similar, I can order it myself without waiting a week for arrival or an extra trip to town. This is a really enjoyable shop for books or gifts.
