A new favorite bookshop for me! I was only visiting Mendocino for 5 days and yet revisited this bookshop 3 times because I couldn’t get enough. A large and well organized selection of books with thoughtful notes written for staff favorites. They not only had a great fiction selection but large areas dedicated to nature, history, cooking, gardening, and art non-fiction books. Also fun games, trinkets and stickers galore. There is something for everyone! They have their own book subscription where you get only special edition hard cover books bimonthly which was very appealing. They have a very sweet sleepy bookshop cat and associated cat themed merchandise for sale.

On my holiday road trip I stopped by Mendocino. While walking towards the beautiful view of the ocean, I came across this book store. It was full of customers so I decided to see what the fuss was about. This cute shop had a nice variety of books and editions I haven't seen. I ended up purchasing Dracula and Horror Short Stories. I can't wait to read them.

This bookshop is literally my favorite. My husband and I make it a point to always stop in, say hello to The Great Catsby and get lost in the all selections. This store is progressive, kind, and truly magical. I mean I get lost in the wide variety of books and goodies. Please support local bookshops!
