Golden Fig Books (Carrboro)

Golden Fig Books is my absolute favorite!!! Their Carrboro location is such a magical place. I visit it quite often and always feel so much joy and peace walking in. They have a MASSIVE selection, a full large wall of new books and the rest being an incredible curation of used books (used according to them but all the used books I’ve gotten are new-like quality!). I love the staff recs for when I can’t find what to read or chatting with the booksellers to see what they recommend. You can tell so much thought and intentionally goes into the store, from the selections offered to the set up of the space. All Independent bookstores are magical but this one definitely takes the gold(en). A can’t-miss while in Carrboro!

One of the BEST customer service I have ever seen. Super friendly, helpful and professional staff. So good to know I can order gifts there that will get here in a week or so while supporting nice local business rather than less ethical corporations. 🙌 💞 🎉

Love independent bookstores, especially ones that offer slightly used. I found a nice book about cult favorite perfumes that I just had to have. I especially like the fact that they are so near Chapel Hill, which is one of my favorite places to visit. Support this wonderful gem!

I was browsing for about 10 minutes before I realized it was even a used bookstore! The books are like brand new. They categorized and displayed them so perfectly—I was engrossed with so many books 📚 and wanted to buy so many. They are amazing prices. It’s spacious so I never felt crowded and overall this place just gave me good vibes. I plan to be back during my time here which is unexpected. I love a little gem 💎
