Excellent local bookstore with a beautiful curation of books. We visited the children’s section, which had a cute little bench and blocks to play with. There were books for children from birth to teens, and my kids loved picking out a book each from their beautiful selection.

What a fantastically curated indie bookshop! We stopped in Hillsborough for a lunch break on a long road trip and walked from the river park to Purple Crow Books. What a wonderful surprise! Beautiful space, great local authors selection, and a wonderful selection of books on display.

It is nice to find an old fashion bookstore. I really enjoyed looking at their assortment. They have many children’s books (which always make a great gift in today’s computer game age). But more importantly they carry all of the local Hillsborough authors, and there are many of them.
