What an engaging and invigorating conversation with the owner while shopping! Just a great experience at a captivating small book store, it'll go down as a favorite! A "must visit" place for sure!

Went in today on a whim and became our new favorite bookstore! Found some books I haven’t found in other stores, and has a large Maine book section which is really interesting! I’m assuming the man working is the owner, and he is very knowledgeable and fun to talk to! We will be back!

We were visiting New England, and my husband had been looking for specific philosophy titles in 5 other bookstores. To our delight, we found them all at Gulf of Maine Books. We chatted to the owners for a long time. They were so lovely. The store was well stocked and so varied in the selections. Wish we hadn't already filled up our suitcases, we would have bought more. What a gem!!

Nice little book store with a great variety of books! Hoping I can find the next book on my list to buy here (The Cult Of Trump). I would rather spend my money here than on Amazon. This bookstore is worth checking out if you are in the area!
