Sherman's Books & Stationery (Freeport)

We love a good bookstore. I have been to the one in Bar Harbor before, but this was my first time in the one in Freeport. They have a great selection of local books and maps, a nice art selection in the back, and a good assortment of books in all age ranges. We weren't looking for anything in particular, other than a notebook for my husband to start writing in. We did find one he liked. The only downside to this store is that there is not a lot of room to move around. It's a very full store. As bigger people, we did a lot of twisting and turning to maneuver our way around shelves and displays. There were a couple of times I had to back up to a larger space for someone else to get by me before continuing on my way. I found the Freeport store to be a little overwhelming for me as there is so much to see in a tight space. They do have a lot of great gift ideas, little trinkets and gadgets and puzzles as well as a great selection of books.
