Mockingbird Bookshop

Popped into mockingbird this past week to grab a book for my vacation as I read through the two I brought. The store is small but plentiful! I saw all the latest sellers and was able to find within a quick 15 minute pop in a book I had never read, nor heard of by an author I am familiar with. There were lots of children’s books, and I saw the store associate chatting with a woman about ordering books for her. I bought a cute tote bag for my friend who also loves Bath, ME and reading with their logo which feels very Gilmore girls and when I got home was delighted to find a little bookmark in my book with the stores name on it which is a nice touch!

Beautiful, neighborhood bookstore with very helpful and friendly staff. My wife is a pre-school teacher and really admired the children books' variety with a reading section for group events. It was our first stop on a charming street of shops.

A must visit when you are in the area of downtown Bath . This book store has something to offer everyone. Really Loved how their children area is decorated. So sweet and inviting.

This bookstore was so cute and a perfect stop for day 1 of our week long Maine trip. They had a good selection of books for all ages. Everyone in our very eclectic bunch found a book (or two) to enjoy on our vacation. Highly recommend if you're looking for a beachy read, for something a bit more serious and for books for your little ones.
