Everyone who works there is really wonderful and I feel like the amount I get back for selling books is really fair. Love the selection but it always smells really badly. I don’t know if it’s a sewer issue or something else but I hope they figure that out. Five stars aside from the smell but one star down off for that.

The bookstore itself is nice. They have a lovely selection of books at reasonable prices. Selling your books there definitely leaves a sour taste in your mouth. I brought in two giant boxes of books. Some autographed and some complete series. They offered me $30 for them. I’m honestly not even upset about that. What I found upsetting is the books they’ve chose not to buy, they will not let you take with you. They buy them as a bulk price, but specifically told me “those books we cannot buy”. Why, then, can I not take them with me? So if I didn’t bring those specific books in I’d still get the same sum but now that I have I can’t keep them? Makes zero sense.

This is a nice store, quite large, with a good selection of books. The staff is usually friendly but not always. If you take books in to sell, don't expect much. I took several antique books in that would have retailed for over $250 but they only offered $10 for all of them, which I declined. I still like this location although I prefer the one on 119th and Blackbob.

Wonderful place to get away and relax! They have it all.... books, paper or hardback, games, toys, movies and more to offer! The kids area is set up nicely to let your child walk freely and explore the book selections from toddlers on up to tweens! Exceptional customer service whether on the phone or needing a little direction! The vast array of books and movies are overthrow so you have to choose your sections to visit! They've mapped this store out exceptionally well and always have employees organizing to help the customers. I've never had any luck selling books at this location, which is unfortunate, but can go to a "sister store" and do so much better! Excellent way to relax and shop without the big crowd loud noise!

Half priced books is the best, because it has the vibes of an old school bookstore. But it also has board games and video games. My favorite is the space towards the front where they keep collectors/rare/specialty books. That's where I found the goosebumps and CYOA that I bought.
