What a gem of a bookstore! I walked in 20-30 minutes before closing to look around on my way to dinner. I agree with previous reviews that the store looks small from the outside, but is a treasure cove inside! I haven't seen a bookstore with such a beautiful, full vintage children's section. I did pay more for my books than I would have online, but I like to support local establishments when I can. I apprecaited your mix of book genres, bookmarks, games, and puzzles -- this was a great stop.

a great store if you have time to browse. I didn’t see a large selection of books I’d be interested in reading (romance, mystery, women’s fiction). The store seemed to have more non fiction, literary fiction, and books marketed toward men. Care had obviously been put into the displays at the front of the store (Halloween, Banned Books, and ACOTAR).

Cool bookstore in downtown Colorado Springs. It looks small from the outside, but once you get inside you see that it has an abundance of books to peruse. The organization is good, and although most prices are higher than I’d expect to see at a used bookstore, you can find some pretty good deals if you spend a bit of time browsing. They have a nice selection of vintage paperbacks, and a small section of beautiful, leather-bound books as well.

My baby is a RAVENOUS consumer of books, mostly rare and expensive ones, the ones my wife owns that I place on the lower shelves specifically for baby consumption. I assure you that my wife is ok with this. Anyways, I am always in search of new books to feed my child’s growing, 4 month old appetite, and have burned through a number of bookstores in this pursuit. It seems some bookstore proprietors don’t recognize the importance of tasting a book before buying it. I am pleased to report that this is not the case with “hooked on books” The owner here is a kind and knowledgeable fellow who is always quick to help and offer suggestions. My baby was chewing on a signed first edition of Dune when he found us. My baby spat it out because it was too spicy. “Try Robert Frost,” he said. I told him that we have before but any poetry written after 1899 gives her tummy troubles. He nodded and produced a classic collection Shelly. This pleased my baby greatly and she ate the first five pages posthaste. We bought the book and a few others besides

Nice book store just no free parking in the area that I'm aware of. Lots of sections on all different topics including a number of books on Colorado. Nice kids section and old books too, plus other little collectibles that go well with the store. Definitely a good place to go that's better than your national chain book store...
