Mountain View Books

Very nice bookstore with a variety of books. They also have DVD's. Large selection of books about Colorado. Off the main street, plenty of parking for free. I have bought some books and swapped books. They are very nice and helpful. I will make this my 'go to' bookstore from now on.

I was kinda disappointed in this bookstore. I've been there four times and no one has bothered to ask what I'm looking for, make any recommendations, or even ask my name. You might get a "hello" if that, but it's mostly just someone babysitting the front desk, who seem annoyed that you want to buy a book or ask them questions. The book selection is spotty, but given enough time you can find something good! Go for the books, not the guest experience!

Out walking off breakfast - thank you, Bon Ton's! - and exploring OCC's back streets, we stumbled across Mountain View Books. What a lovely discovery! For a small shop MVB has a nice collection of many genre and books are reasonably priced. So grateful for another independent small book store in the area!

Great bookstore. Nice selection of books on every topic. Great prices! They are still growing their collection so you may have to keep going back but what they have is pretty good at least in comparison to other book stores in the area!
