Household Books

Household Books is such a a special place!! This incredibly cozy and eclectic bookstore makes you feel immediately welcome the moment you walk through the door and start browsing the shelves. Bobby, the owner, was gracious enough to open the store for a farewell gathering for our friend as she set off on a new chapter. His generosity and warmth speak volumes about not just him, but the spirit of the shop itself. Don’t miss this gem when you’re in town :)

We discovered this treasure of a place this weekend and oh my goodness I’m in love! Fantastic book selection and a very cozy vibe, beautiful sitting area and they play great music while you browse. Their prices are beyond reasonable, we walked out with close to a dozen items for like $60. I could have spent more, and my books are like new, one of them even signed by the author. The owner is the loveliest, just a true gem of a person. Can’t wait to go back!

I absolutely adore this bookstore, though simply referring to it as simply a bookstore doesn't quite encapsulate all that it is. There are definitely books and rare books, but this is also a wonderful spot for poetry readings, comedy and a great community area. The owner Bobby is very knowledgeable on literature and it's always a delight to talk with him aboot Larry McMurtry or all things Horror!!!!!

Beautiful bookstore and selection!! My friend introduced me to Household Books and we’ve really enjoyed browsing the wide range of books from different places and time periods. The store is also very cute and curated - great place to being friends!!!
