Joseph-Beth Booksellers has been a special place to me since I was a kid, and every visit still feels nostalgic. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a huge selection of books that makes it easy to spend hours browsing. It’s the kind of bookstore that reminds you why physical books matter. The attached bistro has great food and is the perfect spot to relax before, during, or after shopping. A true Cincinnati gem that never loses its charm.

Great selection, beyond books! Gifts, clothing items, stationery, and a cafe/restaurant. Bonus: fireplace and cozy seating. Robust kids section. Lots of magazines. Helpful staff. Easy to park.

Amazing selection of magazines like no place else. Super nice people working there and the dining in the restaurant is amazing too. Always a fun place to buy stocking stuffer at Christmas.

I’ve come here countless times with my friends and it’s never disappointed! Although it’s a small bookstore it’s a comforting small atmosphere where you can shop and sit down and it’s in a great location where you can shop at other stores. The workers here are great at reccomending books and are so nice! Definitely a local store in Cincinnati, everyone should stop by in.

I ordered a 2 books on Christmas Day as a gift for a friend leaving town in 2.5 weeks. I understand it is a holiday and I tried to have some understanding that the store/warehouse hours were limited and people were at home with their families. I reached out on January 5th about an update, as I hadn't heard anything in 10 days. No tracking number, no email, and no transactions have went through. After I emailed, Joseph Beth ended up commenting on my order that it was recieved at the warehouse and will be shipped promptly. It is now the 9th of January and the shipping label was just created after I reached out about a refund. It's hard to want to support small/local businesses when the experience is like this. I ordered from the publishers tiktok shop on the 1st and it was here by the 8th. Both books were shipped from Austell, GA. AND I payed shipping on the ones from Joseph-Beth, why? To get the books 2-3+ weeks later? It's just disappointing. But the customer service representatives just didn't seem to care.
