Joy and Matt's Bookshop

Joy and Matt's Books is such a cute little haven in downtown! The owners are always so kind and knowledgeable about their selection. They've ordered books for me when they didn't have in store and notified me quickly when it arrived. Great price, service, and atmosphere!

When I visit a new-to-me city, I try to find a local, independent bookstore and purchase a book. I was wandering around Vine Tuesday afternoon, having just arrived in Cincinnati and looking for lunch, and fortuitously stumbled upon Joy & Matt’s. The store is so cute and welcoming, and the bookseller who helped me, I believe it was Joy, was friendly and knowledgeable. She made the perfect recommendation for me. I think people, myself included, sometimes forget how many treasures bookshops have to discover and what wonderful resources a good bookseller is in helping you discover them.

The cutest little bookstore in the cutest little neighborhood. This is honestly one of the best bookstores I’ve ever visited in terms of unique selection (I found several books I had never seen before but really wanted to buy), plus a lovely atmosphere. The shopkeeper was incredibly kind and helpful, and they had an adorable puppy. I wish I could give this place more stars! Perfect for our rainy day in Cincy!

I loved this bookstore! Nice relaxing environment, and much bigger than it looks from the outside. The employees were so kind and gave great recommendations. Will definitely be back.
