Roebling Point Books (Newport)

Love love love Roeblings! They have delicious coffee, even the drip is amazing! I've had several of their breakfast sandwiches as well as the babka! Must try it! Fabulous books and gifts. I love shopping local and this place is a favorite!

Absolutely loved stopping in for coffee and some books! Friendly staff who are willing to help you find whatever book you’re looking for, and willing to order what you’d like! I will definitely come back to this beautiful staple in the community!

Roebling Books & Coffee in Newport delivers a rare combination of literary depth and café precision, making it a standout destination rather than a novelty. The book selection is curated with evident rigor, balancing contemporary voices, enduring classics and thoughtfully chosen small press titles. The layout invites unhurried browsing, with knowledgeable staff who offer recommendations grounded in genuine familiarity with the inventory rather than sales scripts. Every detail, from shelving to seating, reflects a deliberate commitment to readers and to the cultural role an independent bookstore should play. The café operation matches that same level of discipline and care. Coffee is prepared with consistency and technical competence, and the menu is restrained in a way that prioritizes quality over trend chasing. What sets Roebling apart is not just that it is both a bookstore and a café, but that neither side feels compromised by the other. It is a professionally run, intellectually serious space that rewards repeat visits and sets a high standard for what a modern neighborhood bookstore can be.

Super cute, cozy little coffee shop/book store! Such friendly staff, like seriously SO kind. Loved the environment and atmosphere and the area in the back where you can search the books and drink your coffee.
