I traveled from Olympia to pick up some signed DCC books (the author is from Gig Harbor!) and loved how cute, charming and well-curated this bookshop was! I also loved the DCC stickers and other goodies!! The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and supportive of local authors! I hope I can visit again someday!

The selection of books in this bookstore is fantastic for the size, hell I’ve been to much larger bookstores that had less interesting cross-section whoever is stocking the store two thumbs up!!! I was delighted to see some Andrea Gibson on the shelf, and this followed me home! Thank-you

My partner and I live in Spokane these days, but we stay in Gig Harbor when we go to visit his family once or twice a year. We went to go to Il Lucano for lunch with his Grandma a couple days ago and we all noticed this bookstore next door. Of course, being that we all love books, we had to go explore. And I have to say - this is the cutest little bookstore! The ladies inside were also very sweet and kind, and knowledgeable about what they had in stock and where to find certain books. Very fun to talk to as I was checking out as well! I wish we had such an awesome independent bookstore in Spokane, though we do have a great cute used bookstore down the road from us that I adore. This place would be dangerous to me and my wallet if I lived close by! Also, they do have a nice rewards program. I dont know all the specifics, but when I was checking out they offered me my own account or to have it all go into Grandma's account. Since I'm only in town once or twice a year I let Grandma have the points and she's up to $13 in rewards between both our purchases. I spent more than I probably should have, but it was worth it. Please, if you love books, and you love independent shops, go support this bookstore. The prices are higher than Amazon, but you're supporting local people and local authors, and not giving money to a huge giant corporation that doesn't care about, or support, your community. Next time I am in town I will definitely be stopping by again!

What a spacious, light, and airy book store! They just recently moved to this new location, and they've already made it seem homey. There's a great kid's section with room to snuggle and ride a selection out loud. There's a couch area, perfect for author talks. There are TONS of books--very well organized. They had a teacher table for teacher appreciation and end of the year celebrations. I bought "The Book Club for Troublesome Women" by Marie Bostwick. (All three of us on our "book store crawl" will take turns reading that novel. I got first dibs because I'm getting my reading group to read it as our next selection.)

Love this little gem in Gig Harbor! A great place to purchase gifts (gift cards too!) and spend time browsing. We love the new location! They're family-friendly with a wonderfully imaginative kids section. I frequently check online for selection availability and purchase ahead of time for in-store pickup. They will also special order what's not in stock - quick and easy. We've always had great customer service with knowledgeable, thoughtful and friendly staff.
