Seems like a nice bookshop. They have a reasonable selection of books and some puzzles and games. Didn’t have any issues with the person working there.

Went here with my family. The woman working there did not seem like she wanted anyone to be in her store. My husband and I were about to buy a couple of books and then the woman scolded my daughter and her friend for blocking the aisle. We put our books back and left. Most of the businesses on BI are so welcoming of shoppers. Not so here.

Block Island Books is in the perfect spot, just a short walk from the ferry. The place has such a cozy vibe. The owner is so sweet and helped me find my new favorite author, Erik Larson. You can tell she really loves books!

I visited this bookstore on the Fourth of July. It was a little rainy outside, but I always appreciate a bookstore and typically, the people that run it. I enjoy good conversations about good reads. I asked one of the owners if she had a suggestion. Although she hesitated, she wasn’t sure what I enjoyed reading; she suggested the book, All the light we cannot see by Anthony Doerr. It was an enjoyable conversation, and I appreciated the suggestion. Fabulous book. And very cute little bookstore, it’s a gem. Although books can be cheaper online, the conversation was priceless.

This is a great little book store. Always keeping the newest and best titles in stock. A lot of options about Block Island and fun arts and crafts projects to bring home for the kids. They even host fun events, although I haven't been able to make it to one yet!
