Mercer Street Books is one of those rare places where you always find something unexpected and amazing. Every visit feels like a little treasure hunt I’ve discovered so many incredible books here. The cozy, lived-in vibe, charming decor, and lush plants make it feel more like a secret library than a store. It’s the kind of place you want to linger in for hours. A true gem for book lovers!

I went here for the first time today and fell in love with it. I need some architectural/art books and they had a beautiful selection. The owner was also super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. I’ll also add it’s extremely clean and well organized in there- i can’t wait to go back!

This is a great book store! I sold some books here and the process was very straight forward. Quick and great prices for both cash or in-store credit. They also have a great selection of books, also at great prices. Highly recommended!

Could spend a whole afternoon here. Such a fantastic curated selection. Walked out with seven books and could have gotten more but I had to stop myself.

Love Used books but want to enjoy the aesthetic of the place you’re shopping in? Mercer has your covered. You’re actually able to move about the space freely without feeling the stereotypical hoarder vibe of used book stores. The staff is approachable, knowledgeable, kind and considerate. Their selection is just as diverse as the thoughts of the people running the space.
