Charlie's Queer Books

Excellent place to get LGBTQIA+ types of literature. Literally like any bookstore (nonfiction, fiction, adult, graphic novels, etc.) but all books are LGBTQIA+ books. This makes it not only a unique store, by your go-to location for anything gay written on paper. I finished reading the Green Creek series and had no idea what to do next. The employee (not Charlie, I forgot her name unfortunately) was very helpful and went through a lot of effort to find more books I might like. I left with 3 books, 2 of which were her recommendations. They'll take very good care of you here. 🥰 P.S. the bathroom is so nice I overheard people complimenting it. 😋

Didn’t end up buying any books because I’m the most indecisive person on the planet—give a girl queer YA, sci-fi and romance options and her head will explode. But look at these neat stickers I got instead! Very sweet and welcoming staff. To the cashier: it was a pleasure talking music and not-so-favorite kpop group members with you. 🫰

What a treat of a bookstore! Staff member Will was a delight, with great recommendations and exceptional customer service. I’ll definitely visit again next time I’m in town.

Heaven can wait because there's a pink and purple bookstore right here in Seattle. Charlie's is the sweetest space and has such a wonderful curation. Go for the books, stay for the merch and the bathroom and the goofy conversation you will surely have with the incredible staff!!!!!
