This place was great! I try to check out independent bookstores when I travel and this bookstore did not disappoint. I was so happy that I made the trip in. Had some great conversation with the young lady that was working about some of our favorite books. She was pleasant and friendly, even when I showed up 20 minutes prior to closing. The shop had a great selection of genres and recent releases, lots of fun bookish items as well. Walked out with new reading treasures to commemorate my time in Presque Isle. Will visit in the future, since I travel to PQI for work a couple times a year.

I absolutely love stopping by Neighborhood Books whenever I'm in Presque Isle! They make it so easy to get books shipped right to you, too. I recently ordered a book written by a local author from their website, and it arrived in just a couple of days. The staff is always friendly and even reached out to let me know when they had mailed it so I could keep an eye out for it. A big thank you to Neighborhood Books for always being awesome!

If ever in Presque Isle- check out Neighborhood Books Maine They have a variety of children’s, adult, faith books. And other fun art supplies, and toys. Friendly staff and great prices ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can’t wait to go back

I am absolutely addicted to this adorable bookstore! The selection has been absolutely lovely, and the staff is very friendly. They have a fabulous system that helps keep you from accidentally buying the same book twice - very useful for people like with with huge TBR lists and limited reading time available! I've never walked out without at least a small list of books to buy next time, and I have a stack at home of books I've purchased and am slowly working my way through. I can't wait to fill up my punch card!
