Persnickety Books

Great local bookstore with loads of high quality used books. They helped me find and order some books for my niece and also arranged the shipping. A few weeks back there was a tea tasting event in the upstairs area. Educational and fun! They also have a coffee bar downstairs. Lots of fun non-book items as well. Great place to pick up some gifts as well as books.

I visited Persnickety Books for its little coffee shop on the first floor, and I'll definitely be back! I purchased a delicious holiday-themed latte and enjoyed my time studying for an exam in the warm, and cozy environment. I liked that they had lots of open seating to choose from, comfy chairs (not those uncomfortable chairs that some places have that press in the sides of your hips), and Christmas music softly playing in the background to add to the cozy vibes. I walked around for a little bit towards the end of my study session and I was impressed with their selection of books (new and used), as well as an assortment of cute trinkets that would make good stocking stuffers. I will definitely back in a couple weeks when it's time for me to do my Christmas shopping, because was an all-around great visit!

Such a cute bookstore. I came for the used book section, but didn't see anything I wanted. The price on a few used books was pretty expensive (double what I paid at Barnes & Noble in their clearance section for the same new book), but I think the majority of books have a set price based on the type of book and only some are individually priced. Their set prices seem reasonable. I really liked the gift selection. I saw lots of cute things that I didn't need, but would definitely stop by again for a book related gift if I'm in the area.

Wonderful independent bookstore with super nice owners! Coffee is great, great inventory of new and used books, local authors, and children's books. It will definitely be a place I frequent: good vibes all around!
