Scattered Books is totally unique! It carries all types of fiction and non-fiction books for kids and adults. We rock at kids parties, create custom book baskets, host author events, do outside vending, participate in fundraising and host all kinds of special events. Plus we are the home of the famous bookstore bunnies!

Beautiful store, so many great books and gifts. The owner Laura is friendly and went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday so special, after rescheduling it 2 times due to weather. The staff is friendly and welcoming, did a wonderful job keeping the kids party flowing. The 3 adorable, fluffy bunnies to pet while visiting. True gem. Please support small businesses.

If you’re Woke and Liberal, this is the bookstore for you! However, I’m not and about 25% of the citizens in New Castle are NOT either. I wanted to order the new book by Senator John Kennedy on October 8. It was just made available the day before. Their supplier didn’t carry it. Followed up on the order and was told that it was never ordered. I’m now going to order it on Amazon. Sad that a local bookstore refuses to carry merchandise to a diversified readership. Perchance, a more appropriate appellation for this business is “Scattered Brains!”

My autographed copies of "State of Terror" arrived safe and sound today. Well packed and shipped lightning fast! Thanks so much for hosting the Clinton/Penny book event. I'm a huge fan of both amazing women, loved the book, and loved the live chat you all hosted! Thank you so much!
