Lovely little bookstore! I appreciated how well curated the store was and the fact that they have an annex dedicated to art related books. The vibes were good and definitely feels like a place that cares about the community they live in. Found so many interesting books here ane loved how they sell some local art.

Great, small bookstore with a lovely setting including a tree and circular bench in the middle. Because the store is on the small side, the selection in some of the topics/sections isn’t as broad or extensive as other bookstores. But the store more than makes up for it in other ways. They have great gifts for bibliophiles, fun temporary tattoos, fantastic branded T-shirts, and artistic greeting cards. And you can always have the store order a book you don’t see in stock! It can get a bit crowded on a Saturday or when they have events. But I don’t believe in taking off stars for something like that. The size and capacity is what it is. This is still a great bookstore to visit! Staff are friendly. And the location is good, right on same section of street as lots of other interesting businesses like an independent movie theater, taqueria, diner, nail salon, and more.

New favorite bookstore unlocked. I’m a West Sider randomly in the neighborhood and stopped in, heard Bo and the staff passionately discussing books & decided to ask for some inspiration, Bo absolutely nailed it. So helpful & cool, great curations on every shelf. I’ll make the trek back just to peruse again.

This is not a library it's a propaganda center. I am fine with books of varying opinions, even "staff picks" heavily suggesting what the staff wants you to read, but when you have two full bookcases of aggressive, one-sided opinions on one particular issue in the world, the motives are suspicious. Book stores should be a place for the community to seek varying perspectives, not a place to peddle narratives for an agenda through over 50 books in one section. They know what they're doing and they don't find anything wrong with it, as was clear when this issue was brought to the staff. 2 stars in the hope that they will improve their treatment of customers from a different background than their own, and with different viewpoints than their own. I don't have much hope for them.
