So Much More To The Story: A Bookery

Cute little bookstore. Honestly went in just to browse while I was in the city. But found my most recent book obsession!! It had a whole set up too. Was so surprised and excited since Amazon and all the big book stores were sold out!! Will definitely come back here whenever I’m down in NC again.

This was the most uncomfortable experience ever. Ive come here during the book crawl and yes it was busy but there were workers only behind the register and they never engaged with customers. I gave it another chance because they have a great selection but i was the ONLY person in the store, not one of the employees said hello, or anything. I have a few books in my hand i intended to purchase and i made eye contact with one of the four girls there and no one offered to take my books to the register while i continued to look or even say hello still. So i put the books back and left. Drove all the way to Troubadour books and got purchased all 8 books I was originally gonna purchase here. Shame on management for not training your employees on customer service. Do not recommend this place.

Such a beautiful & fun bookstore, the customer service is just horrible. I've come a handful of times to give them another chance but it's just so uncomfortable. We always feel like we're unwelcome. It's unfortunate because I really wish we could have a pleasant experience shopping local. I can say they have a great selection & beautiful items outside of books for all the readers out there. The children's section is adorable as well!

This is a wonderful bookstore! I was so happy with the variety of selections and how neat the store was. The customer service was great, and I loved how I got a very deal. I bought 4 books on (8/22), and a bookmark! You will save so much money here than ordering from Amazon, Barnes and Nobles and etc! The perk is that you can request a book and have them order for you! 💓💓💓💓💓💓❤️
