Dont let our size deter you, We carry a wide variety of genre from Fiction to Cooking. We also carry journals, coloring books, and art supplies. If you want a certain title and don't see it in store, we can always try and order for you. Check out of Facebook page each month to see what exciting events will be hosted that month. I took my daughter to celebrate Indy Book Day and we had such fun seeing miss Winnie here while we browsed for books. The owners were so helpful and nice, I will definitely be returning and recommend this quaint little gem of a book store!

This is a true gem in downtown Saranac Lake! Be sure to stop by for your summer reads. You’ll find great recommendations and a wonderful selection of all the latest books here. There’s even a “local” section full of Adirondack stories (fiction and nonfiction). Get everything you need and support this local book store!

Great bookstore. Highly recommend, the owner is nice and friendly. I found 2 unique books one about the Underground Railroad in Upstate New York. The other is about honeybees and why they are vital for pollination. It's worth the stop to come and shop here, even if you are not looking for something particular I bet you will find something interesting thay sparks your interest. Highly recommend.

This place is an absolute gem that Saranac Lake is so lucky to have! I love to buy birthday and Christmas gifts here. The owner is a wealth of knowledge about all the books she has on her shelves. You can tell she really loves what she does. There is also a super cute children’s section. Nothing beats strolling an indie book store and picking out your next read. The Book Nook is right downtown so you can even dive into your new book at Riverside Park or Berkeley Green just a few steps away.
