Lovely bookshop with huge selection! So many great options. Very nice, large space. Great selection of greeting cards as well.

Very nice, intimate and stylish place with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Large, very well organized selection of books with interesting displays of Nobel Prize laureates, local authors or current bestsellers. Overall not only a bookshop, but a great experience.

A really nice indie bookshop with incredibly friendly staff! Seems focused on history/biography, art/photography, and classics, insofar as what you might find more of here than elsewhere (they obviously have a lot of other genres too!). Grab some books from the Authors Ridge crew while you’re here!

I’ve lived in Concord, MA for many years and was once a loyal supporter of the Concord Bookshop. Our family regularly gives and receives gift certificates from the store, especially around the holidays. This year, one of those gift certificates was lost in the mail. When I contacted the shop, I was told there was nothing they could do. Given my long history of purchasing gifts there for my children and grandchildren, I was disappointed by their unwillingness to cancel and reissue the certificate. Unfortunately, this experience reflects very poor customer service, and I can no longer recommend the store.

I placed an order for a book on 12/15 with a note stating it was a gift and hoping it would be packaged in a way the book would not be identified when shipped. Because of this note, the order was not confirmed until I approved the standard shipping packaging several days later. When I approved the book to be shipped and asked if it was going to arrive by Christmas, my order was again put on hold pending my approval it would not arrive by Christmas. Overall I’m very disappointed, had I known this would have been a three step verification process for the standard packaging and shipment time I would have placed an order elsewhere.
