A beautiful bookstore with a nice selection of books for all ages, unique cards and Liberty jigsaw puzzles. Call ahead though as the hours are unpredictable. We’ve made the trip to BG several times to visit this store during scheduled hours and we were met with a sign on the door that said “The Tide is Out”.

My husband and I visited this adorable shop on our vacation because I read the book I brought quicker than anticipated. Thankfully, they had the sequel I needed in stock. While there, the wonderful clerk suggested a book I should read my students this fall. I loved the atmosphere, the conversation, and the recommendations.

This is a gem to have on the island. I needed a specific book for my new book club and forgot to get it before I vacationed so I found The Tide bookstore. They had the book that I needed!!! The lady helped me find it. Super cute bookstore. I am going to make stopping at the bookstore to buy a book my new tradition when visiting Gasparilla.
