Went in after a year away. The male behind the counter has a repellent personality. He was rude a year ago, still rude. I’ll drive over to the Bridgton bookstore before I’ll go in there again. Why be rude to a potential sale??

Great for all ages, local bookstore, clean, well run and fairly priced. Worth a quick visit or a long visit to enjoy some reading and comfortable chairs! Friendly place.

Odd little store with books and records and bric-a-brack. You might find something of you might not, but you can browse for ages and its relaxing!

Visited the Tribune bookstore in Norway for the first time this morning. I was there to purchase some books as my vacation stash was low. I had heard positive things about this store. Unfortunately when I got there I walked in with a young author who was there to see what the process was to potentially have their book on the stores shelves. Now I understand I have a soft spot for budding authors or anyone who creates. The owner could have simply just said "no thank you" or possibly try later. Instead she began to berate this poor gentleman in front of his daughter. In my opinion, after pouring your heart and soul into a project, being rejected in this way is hurtful. Obviously this store owner doesn't value the creative process which has managed to keep their business afloat in a time when it is just as easy if not easier for these independent authors to sell online. Which we know what online sales have done to physical book stores. I left and I will not shop there. As a family who spends an immense amount on books each year I will direct my business to places that respect the creators as well as the readers.

I have visited this store every year and can't believe the decline in service and amount of books. The 'cashier' (owner?) was very rude to an older woman, who just misunderstood the bag policy. My first time leaving a book store with no books!
