Quiet City Books

Lovely little bookstore. Has a great selection of books, you never know what you’re going to find! Also has a wonderful selection of small gifts and unique artwork. I just bought a lot of my holiday gifts for the year from there. I recommend this place to anyone who loves a small local business with a cozy vibe!

Very cute bookstore! Good selection, excellent prices, interesting events, unique local & handmade finds, friendly staff, and pleasant atmosphere. It is down a flight of stairs to get in, which could pose difficulty, and downtown Lewiston parking is sparse and terrible, but worth the trip if you can.

My family loves shopping at Quiet City. My birthday and Christmas presents have pretty consistently come from here for the last 4 years running because my husband knows that theres a 100% chance of finding something esoteric that I would love here- but my oldest and I were also recently able to pick up several John Green books so they could be introduced to emotion in reading for less than $20.

Just stumbled into this place, they didn't have the book I wanted but I can't wait to bring my wife and kids here! It has character
