Blacksburg Books

I love Blacksburg Books. They have a great selection of books plus an assortment of artisanal goods — earrings, pottery, stickers, notebooks, candles, teas and more.

Only independent book store in Blacksburg, VA. It had a great variety of books including LGBTQ+, diverse authors and blind date with a book (the book is wrapped up and it's a surprise). Also had plenty of community involvement from Virginia Tech students reading to children to à local poet writing a poem for you on a typewriter. So fun! Ask for more details at the bookstore. Great selection of stickers and other book accessories. Also has a small sofa to relax and have a look at the books.

Wonderful bookstore with a mix of all genres of books. If you dont see what you want, they can get it for you! I also love the selection of book adjacent gifts and unique fun things for kids and adults!

Loveliest local bookstore. Over the summer they had a Wheres Waldo event/challenge where you would find a little Waldo in surrounding local businesses downtown and each business would give you a stamp. My son (7) absolutely loved it and even won a prize, a gift certificate to Crow Nest Greenhouse. I recently called looking for a book and they had it ordered and ready for me in about 4 days, at a very reasonable price too. Just really lovely people doing what they can for their local community of book lovers.
