Adorable bookstore with helpful & friendly staff. Aside from the nice selection of books there are puzzles, bags of coffee & a nice kids/toddlers section. There was plenty of parking and two nearby coffee shops within walking distance.

Perfect little independent bookstore. Very thoughtfully curated. Worth a browse and definitely always able to find something to purchase.

I adore this store and wish I could visit more often. We don’t make it to Cable as often with the low snowfall. I always stopped in when in Cable and have over many years. I miss all the visual delights and extremely helpful book summaries. I recently placed an order online which encountered issues at the warehouse level. Today, Marilyn and Lisa resolved it and the owner gave me a gift card credit to thank me for my troubles. Totally unexpected and unnecessary but underscores the value of supporting this wonderful store even if from afar. A magical place. Highly recommend.

Good selection of books both current and unique. Usually a good selection of children’s books on the area, the Midwest, and nature. Always a stop for us.
