Half Price Books Olathe

I got a chance to go to this store, and it was a great experience as always. I happened to catch some good comic book finds that plugged holes in my collection, and found some books that said I had to take them home. And always check the clearance section - you never know when they'll have something great for you!

Great place to find used books for self-study or fun. I like the math/science/engineering and comics selection. I've also sold books here, good way to get a couple smackeroos. just don't expect to get a ton of money from a single run.

Fun store, great staff! Great place to get a few $ for unwanted books. Lots of fun gifts, puzzles, games. Not just books.

I suppose if you want to go to a library and find things yourself or get away from all human contact this is a good place to start. We walked thru the entire place and stayed for over a half hour. No one(employees) ever looked up from their tasks. Now I don't expect red carpet etc. BUT. At least pretend people are in the building, give the impression that you appreciate that their revenue pays salaries. Show a shred of interest that you might be able to be helpful.
