Monarch Books & Gifts

Finally made it out to this bookstore. It's a cozy shop with plenty of places to sit and enjoy reading a while. The book selection seems to be more recent publications within many different categories. Fiction, humor, horror, cookbooks, and several popular series. The children's book area even had a number of beanbag chairs for parents to sit and read with their kids. There are a large number of book-related and other gifts snd novelties, from coasters with sassy sayings to bookish bags and decor. While we were there on a Saturday they had some snacks and mildly alcohol-containing beverages. It felt like a nice environment for small families to check out. There were some older books on the shelves up high which seemed more decorative and were not for purchase. If you're looking for gifts for book lovers in your life, give this a shop a visit.

They have a good selection of books and gifts. The staff is friendly. And I found a signed copy of a Freida McFadden book here!

I love Monarch. The staff is amazing. They have had to pivot and change their business model this year, but it has not changed my experience at all. If I want any book, I can order it online and pick it up in store. It always brings me a really cozy feeling when I shop there.
