It was the day before Christmas and Amazon failed me, so I figured I would go to the bookstore because you can find something for everyone there. And that’s exactly what happened. Books about Kansas City history for my stepdad. The Cher autobiography for my mom. A Sabrina Carpenter album for my daughter and also a couple of books. Some Mark Lawrence books for my husband. It’s just a really great place with a great selection!

This location is top-notch! A very warm and welcoming store that I stumbled upon one afternoon after having gone to other locations for a while. I decided to come to this store for a specific vinyl record that was in stock, and I was quickly elated by not just the music section, but also the cookbooks. The employees are also very knowledgeable and helpful on recommending new books. I had been in a very bad habit of getting most of my books from Amazon, but now I am choosing to go back to using Barnes & Noble for my book and vinyl record needs!

This is one of the largest Barnes and Nobles I’ve been in. Had a whole separate toy section. Lots of great books. Has the cafe if you want to hang out and read. It’s in a great location. Overall no complaints.

As a child I used to go to Barnes and Noble every Sunday after lunch. I went for the first time in years and was sad to find I would never bring my kids here. From the basically naked pictures of Taylor Swift right at the door to the explicit book covers, clear agendas and astrology merchandise I found it not only not kid friendly but also disturbing as an adult. I wanted to write this review to warn families with children and in hopes that Barnes and Nobel would be inspired to make their store more friendly toward those that don’t enjoy sensual content and new age practices.

Barnes and Noble never disappoints-- if you can't find entertainment here, you must have no interests haha. Love perusing the games and new book releases. Even looking for something new to read, I learn a lot! Tons of gift ideas and specials too! They recently changed the membership programs but definitely worth signing up at least for the free one if you don't live close-- but the paid one comes with free shipping which is great when you live far away from one like we do! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Starbucks makes the entire place smell like heaven. If you like books, music, games or just a quiet coffee, Starbucks is a great stop.
