Adorable little book store! Love the look of this shop. The shop owner has obviously Spent a good amount of her time to make sure that everything looks so adorable! Great selection! We didn't get to meet Monkey the cat yet, but I love that this book store has such a cute little fer baby!❤️ We can't wait to visit again!

Literally a dream come true as a local small bookstore. Walked in on a whim after dining at the Dairy Bar. Adorable gift items and of course thoughtfully curated books. Absolutely beautiful space with high ceilings you could stay in for hours. My husband and kiddo loved the chess board. And as if it couldn’t get any better, out saunters their cat named Monkey, who proceeds to curl up in an arm chair by the door 🥹🐈‍⬛ The owners are so kind and excited to be there. Loved supporting this business and will be back!

Lovely bookstore with so many cute book-ish things! Earrings, bags, mugs, candles, puzzles, shirts/hoodies, & more. Plus it seems they have a lot of great events for kids and adults alike. They have a huge selection of books and they can order any book they don't have in stock. The people with me had some free drinks while they waited for me to finish my shopping. So glad I could meet Monkey the cat (pro tip, if you really want to meet Monkey, go during story time because he apparently always comes to the front to avoid the back area full of kids and their crafts. I lucked out).

Every time I have gone to MonkeyKat Books I leave feeling enchanted. It is the perfect small town, independently owned bookstore that also seems to magically have everything you're looking for, and then some. Fun events held frequently with fresh ideas that invest in community and joy for a myriad of hobbies, not just reading! I love the local author spotlights and the staff is delightful. I went in today to grab a present for a friend and it warmed my heart to see how Kat interacted with her customers. She and her team are not only dedicated to superb customer service, but genuinely care about helping people. They provide stellar book recommendations too!
