Sips & Sequels

My wife and I were in town to see a play at the Temple theater and stumbled on Sips and Sequels. Really glad we did. A nice selection of beers and meads. The vibe is a local place to hang out. Would highly recommend coming by. Stephanie was an amazing hostess!

Last night was my first visit to Sips & Sequels for their inaugural Silent Book Club. I love the cozy space and the wide variety of beer (on tap and in cans) + non-alcoholic options. My friend and I enjoyed two hours of quiet reading. It was the perfect way to wind down after a work day. I will definitely be back! I brought my own book with me (thank you, Lee County Library!) but they have a great selection of new and used books; used books are 60% off the retail price!

The only thing better than the Beer and the books is the staff! I have had stellar book recommendations and this is my spot to relax, unwind, and grab a beer while reading a few chapters. Sanford NC needed this gem! CAROLYN IS THE BEST!!

I love this place so much that I'm there almost every Thursday evening and more! And I just found out that I can support them with electronic books on Bookshop.org. I don't typically buy physical books because I hate lugging them around. Now I can download my favorites and Sips and Sequals gets paid. I love Amy's selection of beer- by far the best in Sanford! And she has so many cool clubs to join and events to check out. Definitely my favorite place in Sanford.
