The Country Bookshop exists to serve our community and we strive to accomplish this by providing a venue for people to connect and discover. Our team works tirelessly to know about all of the books on our shelves and those available in our warehouse and combine that knowledge with a personal conversation so that YOU can find a book (or a connection) that could possibility change your life or just make your day better. We believe in the role of excitement to get people reading and we like to bring authors into our space and into our community to facilitate personal connections and conversations with the people who have written books. We work with many organizations and institutions to make that valuable connection with authors. We also strive to support the readers who gather in our community and provide our many registered book clubs with presentations, a dedicated newsletter and more. See our book club webpage for more information. We also facilitate many author events for children and enjoy our partnership with Authors In Moore Schools. We love expanding the ideas presented in books through thoughtful conversations with our authors. You can join us for an event, check out our podcast or our YouTube page for the opportunity to experience these conversations. The Country Bookshop has been around since 1953 and since 2010 we are proudly a part of The Pilot Newspaper. We love promoting our many activities through all of the media properties associated with this organization. There’s just no topping this bookstore. Nestled in the perfect spot with shelves full of amazing books, it has that magical charm - it was built in the 1950’s - you can actually feel. And Kimberly Daniels? She’s the heart of the place - warm, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you discover your next favorite book.

The cutest little bookstore. There were so many book with different sections to browse. They had seating if you wanted to sit and read the introductions of interested books. I believe they had a children section as well and it looked adorable. Of course I bought a book and the staff was super friendly.

Besides the falsehoods in one section of the children’s department (why I gave 4 stars), this is a very cute bookstore! If you’re an adult, definitely head in and find something amazing to read! If you’re looking for normal children’s stories, without a hidden agenda, make sure you really look through the books and read them first. Found this gem while looking for something cute for my little ones.

So glad we found this gem, bookstores like these are rare nowadays. Amazing selection, welcoming atmosphere. There were several people waiting outside for it to open on Sunday, that definitely speaks volumes. We will most definitely be back.

Omg this place is amazing and the selection of books is great I recently learned that they had a sale section where books are 40%off and they do take military discount. They were even willing to ship a book in that they usually did not carry for me 😊
